These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Breakaway Athletics LLC(“Breakaway Athletics”) website and our clinics, camps, and training. By using this website or registering for an event, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or register.

This website provides information about Breakaway Athletics basketball training, clinics, and camps in Cleveland, OH, and lets you register and pay for events online. Checkout is handled by our payment processor, Stripe. Event details — including dates, times, location, capacity, and pricing — are subject to change, and registration is subject to availability.

Our program is intended for high school athletes. If a participant is under 18, a parent or legal guardian must register, pay, and communicate on their behalf. By registering an athlete, you confirm that you are the parent or legal guardian, or are otherwise authorized to do so, and that the information you provide is accurate.

You register and pay for events through this website. Your spot is reserved once payment is received and we confirm it; submitting details without completing payment does not hold a spot. After payment, the parent or legal guardian must complete a short online intake — confirming guardianship, signing our liability waiver and media release, and providing an emergency contact — before the athlete may take part. Participation is conditioned on completing that intake, and the signed waiver governs the athlete's participation. We may decline or cancel a registration at our discretion (for example, if an event is full or cannot proceed).

Prices are shown at registration and are charged at checkout through Stripe; by paying, you authorize that charge. Posted prices, discounts, and promo codes (such as a teammate code) may change at any time, and spots may be limited or capped.

By registering or contacting us, you agree that we may reach you by email, phone, or text message about your registration, an event you've asked about, and related logistics. Message and data rates may apply to texts. You can opt out of non-essential messages at any time by replying to a text, emailing us, or letting us know — we may still send you essential messages about an event you're registered for.

We offer a free “Player Card” maker as a fun extra. It is provided “as is” for personal, non-commercial use. The card is generated entirely from the details encoded in its link and is not stored on our servers; you are responsible for the information you enter and for who you share the link with. The card is for entertainment only — it is not an official evaluation, ranking, or endorsement by Breakaway Athletics LLC.

A core part of our camps is creating each athlete's Player Page and deliverables (photos, video highlights, ratings, and a written evaluation). By signing our media release during registration, the parent or legal guardian grants Breakaway Athletics LLCpermission to photograph and film the athlete at the event, to create and host the athlete's Player Page, and a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use event photos and video to promote our programs. A Player Page is unlisted by default and shared only by the family; the guardian may choose to make it public, and may change that choice or request removal at any time. We will not post an athlete's full last name, a parent's contact information, an emergency contact, or medical notes on a public Player Page. Basketball and athletic training involve inherent risks, including the risk of physical injury. By participating, you (and, for a minor, the parent or guardian) acknowledge and voluntarily accept these risks. This website does not provide medical advice; consult a physician before beginning any training program.

You agree to use this website lawfully and not to misuse it — for example, by attempting to disrupt the site, gain unauthorized access, or use it for any unlawful or infringing purpose.

The content on this site — including text, graphics, the Breakaway Athletics name and logo, and other marks — is owned by Breakaway Athletics LLCor its licensors and is protected by applicable law. You may not copy, reproduce, or use it without our prior written permission. A family may freely share their own athlete's Player Page.

Our site uses and links to third-party services such as Stripe and Instagram. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party site or service, and your use of them is governed by their own terms.

This website and our services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the information on it is always current or accurate.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Breakaway Athletics LLC and its owners, staff, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of this website or our services. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute relating to these Terms or our services will be subject to the courts located in Ohio.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the site after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
